In our private practice, we work with children of all ages, parents, and families. Starting with a strengths-based perspective, we use “what works” for each client. Our approaches include talk, play, Somatic Experiencing, mindfulness, expressive arts, rhythm and movement.
Mindful Parenting Brooklyn has a unique resource: a SMART room that enables children to use sensory motor stimulation as a pathway to self-regulation.
Mindful Parenting Brooklyn also offers Mindful Parenting workshops as a resource for parents who want to learn how to better attune to themselves and their children. These workshops familiarize parents with mind-body-brain-emotion connections to help them foster healthy, well-balanced families.
